The Peace Arts Gallery Society (PAGS) supports arts programming and a variety of other artistic endeavors in our community. PAGS offers children the opportunity to participate in the Fine Arts, such as the “Free Kids’ Art Camp” every summer and gives student bursaries. The Society helps lend support to local artists by co-sponsoring five to six adult art workshops on a yearly basis. PAGS is second only to the City in support of the North Peace Cultural Centre and is an active member of the Fort St. John Arts Council. On an on-going basis, the society promotes many quality exhibitions at Peace Gallery North as well as the hiring of extra staff at the gallery during the busy holiday season. All of the initiatives that PAGS pursues are supported by volunteer fundraising efforts through the Annual Chocolate Festivals and Art Auctions.
