Northern Dance Theatre Society is a non-profit parent organization which supports the competitive dancers in the full time program at Studio 2 Stage Dance Academy. The group holds an annual summer school and several workshops through the year as well as assists dancers with festival entry fees and provides costumes for dancers in the troupe as well as for the recreational dancers at the Studio.

The Fort St John Irish Dance Society was formed in 1994 to promote an interest in the study of the art of Irish Dance in and around the area of Fort St John BC and to provide a support structure to assist studying amateur dancers with the Watt School of Irish Dance in achieving their individual and collective goals in solo and group dancing at local, regional, national and world levels.
