More like wicked hot!

In honor of the hot months of summer to come, the North Peace Potters’ Guild is back at it with their upcoming annual Chili Bowl Bash Fund Raiser on Friday June 18, 6pm.

Guests are invited to come to the ArtsPost, home of the Potters’ Guild, to enjoy some of the best chili Fort St. John has to offer.  A variety of local ‘chili gurus’ will be serving up something spicy (okay and some mild offerings too) and they want you to be the judge of who’s got the winning recipe.  The best part is that the potters have been busy crafting beautiful bowls for you to choose from and keep!  For the cost of a $25 ticket, you can eat as much chili as you can handle, select a one of a kind hand-crafted ceramic bowl, and support the North Peace Potters’ Guild.  Now that’s a win-win situation.  For tickets call Natalie at 250-785-4326.

Each year the Arts Council hosts Art In The Park, part of the annual Canada Day celebrations in Centennial Park.  Art In The Park includes the Children's Art Activities Tent and the Artists' Show & Sale.

We are now accepting registration for the Artist Show & Sale.  If you would like to register, please click Here

Did you know that Fort St. John is going to have its own Community Garden, beginning this summer?  The Arts Council is looking for some crafty and creative folks to join us for an afternoon of beautification of this garden space.

There will be plenty of items to paint such as picnic tables, flower and vegetable planters, etc.  This is a wonderful project for the whole family to get involved it.   Contact us for more information.

***Please note that guests are asked not to park in the church's parking lot.  There is designated parking for the Community Garden off of 102nd Avenue.
